Data Deletion Instructions

You can ask us at any time to delete the personal data we hold about you. This page explains how, for each kind of user. Section 7 of our privacy policy explains what we keep and for how long.

1. If you messaged or ordered from a business we serve

  • Send a message to MK LABS on WhatsApp (+20 150 811 1860) or by email ([email protected]) that says "Delete my data". Include the name of the business you dealt with.
  • Send it from the same WhatsApp number, or include the phone number or account name you used with the business, so we can find your records and confirm they are yours.
  • You can also send the same request to the business itself; it will pass it to us.

We will delete your conversations, messages, voice notes and photos, and remove your name, phone number and address from your orders. We will confirm to you once it is done, within 30 days of your request.

The business may still keep order totals with no personal details for its accounts, and any records it is legally required to keep. Deleted data can remain in encrypted backups for a short time until they are overwritten.

2. If you logged in with Facebook, or connected a Page, Instagram or WhatsApp account

First, remove our app's access. It appears as "MK projects":

  • Personal Facebook account: Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites (or Business integrations) → select "MK projects" → Remove.
  • Business portfolio: Meta Business Suite → Settings → Integrations → Connected apps → "MK projects" → Remove.
  • WhatsApp Business account: WhatsApp Manager → Account tools → Partners (or Apps) → remove "MK projects".
  • Instagram: once the linked Facebook Page is disconnected above, our access to the Instagram account ends with it.

Our access tokens stop working as soon as access is removed. Then email [email protected] from your business address, or message us on WhatsApp, with your business name and the Page, Instagram or WhatsApp account you connected. We will erase the IDs, tokens, messages and customer data we hold for those accounts within 30 days and confirm when it is done, unless you ask us to hand the data over first.

3. Anyone else

Visitors to our website, people who contacted us, and businesses whose public contact details we used to introduce our services: email or message us and we will delete what we hold about you within 30 days.

Website usage data is anonymous and cannot be linked back to you. To remove the random ID on your device, clear this site's data in your browser.
